Episode IV: A New Show
So it has been some time since I have had a chance to post to this blog. I am hoping to change that in the coming days and months.
I have been so busy making pottery and teaching that I haven’t had a chance to write up making pottery and teaching. The irony of it all.
Curently I am preparing for a new show if my work at Choplet Ceramic studio (238 Grand St. Williamsburg, Brooklyn). The opening reception will be Saturday 10/12 from 7 to 9. It is titled O’Cearnaigh: tá súil ghrinn aici, which is Irish for Kearney: she has an eye for detail. The title is a tribute to my late mother and surviving father, because without them none of this would have been possible.
Its a collection of functional and decorative ceramics for everyday use and aesthetic enjoyment. If you are interested in attending you can click the link below for the facebook page or of course just drop by. There will be free food and refreshment of course.

I hope to see you at the opening and if not there in the studio.
Till then, get in the studio and make something,
